Any Native American would tell you there are no ‘weeds’; but yet that every plant has a purpose. It is apparent that Brides are taking heed with wild, and wild looking wedding flowers and décor. The look of a wildflower, roadside field with those multitude of near unidentifiable wisps and strands in various colors. Or…that aromatic forest of a National Park condensed into wild wedding bouquets of a every fern imaginable coupled with mosses, acorns, and tendrils. Mother Nature is vogue as she should be.
And then…..you have Outlander. The magical series that intrigued, educated, and romanticized while enhancing our knowledge of history . All in a wild setting of Mother Nature in the Highlands thus creating an all things wildflower for weddings and of course, Scottish. Akin to a Midsummer Nights Dream; loose and free, soft and green, and wild as the wind.
Not only are these wild, wedding flowers lush and soft, but they are also economical as well and super long lasting as many I integrate with dried varieties, pods, and berries. Soft ethereal ribbons dripping at their base and sides; sometimes with shower streamers, knotted with meaningful herbs or cones. These wild wedding bouquets from Mother Nature draw you in, they soothe you and agree with you because we are part of nature and thus related. The roadside ‘weeds’ are are our friends and the ferns our solace.
Whatever the season Mother Nature has inspiration for your special bouquets and any décor; calling you home to her for wonderful and wild wedding flowers or flowers for any day. Visit the wedding page for more inspiration wild and not. Lynn 🙂
