Dear Lynn,
Thank you for asking President Obama to help protect Appalachian streams and mountains from mountaintop removal mining. We have a great opportunity to protect this important region. It all begins with efforts from people just like you! With your help, Earthjustice will continue to safeguard public lands, national forests, parks, and wilderness areas; reduce air and water pollution; prevent toxic contamination; preserve endangered species and wildlife habitat; and defend the right of all people to a healthy environment.

Dear Lynn,
Thank you for taking swift action to protest the upcoming auction of America’s Redrock wilderness.
Your message will let the Administration and Congress know that the American people will not stand for this midnight raid on an irreplaceable gem of our natural heritage.
Thank you for joining with me to save these beautiful wildlands for future generations.
Sincerely,
Robert Redford

Thank you for helping animals.

Your message will send a message loud and clear that the American people will not stand for this cruel assault on our country’s iconic wildlife.

Dear lynn,
Thank you so much for your recent action to help stop whaling! From the 1970s, when Japan, the Soviet Union, and others killed tens of thousands of whales annually, to the 1986 historic moratorium on commercial whaling, we have challenged the whaling industry, and been a voice for whales.
Thank you for all that you do to help animals.
Sincerely,

Dear Ms. Mehl:
Thank you for your letter opposing large development in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). I wholeheartedly agree that we must protect America’s pristine wilderness areas. The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, comprised of 1.6 million-acres of costal plain, is one of the few intact wilderness ecosystems remaining in the United States. The Refuge is home to grizzly and polar bears, musk oxen, arctic fox, wolves, 135 bird species, and a migrating heard of 180,000 caribou.
Thank you for contacting me regarding this important issue. Please do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of further assistance on this, or any other matter.
Sincerely,
Charles E. Schumer
United States Senator
Dear Lynn:

Sincerely,

Dear Ms. Mehl,
Thank you for contacting me regarding H.R. 39, the Udall-Eisenhower Arctic Wilderness Act. I am a cosponsor of H.R. 39, which designates certain lands within the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR) as wilderness and as components of the National Wilderness Preservation System. This would help protect some of the most beautiful and environmentally sensitive lands in the United States.
Sincerely,
John Hall
Member of Congress
Dear Ms. Mehl:
Your willingness to speak up for nonhuman animals—whose suffering is all too often ignored—is changing the world in a way that once seemed impossible. Just this year, we’ve made huge strides in the fight for nonhuman rights, including helping pass the first law that recognizes the legal right of a nonhuman animal, and filing new lawsuits on behalf of elephants in three states.
All of this progress was made possible by your courage and compassion. From all of us at the NhRP, thank you for being a part of this movement.
Sincerely,
NhRP Nonhuman Rights Project
Dear Lynn,
We have a lot in store for the rest of 2024. Whether we’re in the field, in court, or on Capitol Hill, we’re going to continue our fight to protect America’s wild horses and burros from federal mismanagement so we can keep them in the wild where they belong.
Thank you for continuing to stand up for our cherished wild horses and burros!

Dear Lynn,
Thank you for contacting us to protect these imperiled bears and their critical habitat under the Endangered Species Act.
By speaking out at this critical time, you have taken an important step in our campaign to ensure survival.

Dear Lynn,
Thank you for asking Secretary Salazar to reconsider his decision to eliminate protections for gray wolves in the northern Rocky Mountains under the Endangered Species Act. It all begins with efforts from people just like you!
The northern Rockies wolf population has grown from around 30 wolves to more than 1,500 wolves today … and their environment has begun to come back into balance.
But this decision could quickly undo all of that progress.
Without federal protections, there’s no guarantee of the wolves ‘survival. In the four months last year that they were unprotected, 110 wolves were killed. With your help, Earthjustice will continue to safeguard public lands, national forests, parks, and wilderness areas; reduce air and water pollution; prevent toxic contamination; preserve endangered species and wildlife habitat; and defend the right of all people to a healthy environment.
Sincerely,
Earthjustice
