The Spirit Bear is one of our special creatures native only to one area in the world; Princess Royal and Gribbell Islands along the rainforest coast of British Columbia There are only a few hundred of the Spirit Bears; a unique sub species of the black bear. The land of the Spirit Bear is always threatened by plans to build an oil pipeline directly through this fragile rainforest and the bears habitat.
