Vintage terrariums, domes, & canisters make for some one-a-kind dioramas of butterflies or….butterfly houses to us. I consulted on similar dioramas for the series The Gilded Age as they were popular Victorian domes, vogue decor for tables and shelves. Their scenes were created using real, taixdermy birds and insects-these are faux. :). Each container is a vintage found object with a natural world created inside.
